Galaxian Junta

Secret California reef break.
Just around the next corner.
Skipped work on a tip from a friend.
Driving, hiking, exploring, hoping.

Campfire ghost stories.
Coyotes forlorn howling.
Spirits of the dead arise.
Souls of the living take notice.

Hawaiian outer island catamaran.
Primordial polynesian star-scape.
Unfiltered Nor-Pac undulates.
Palm trees waft in the trade winds.

West African freedom riders.
Villages of mud.
Untamed Croc-lined rivermouths.
Unmapped cobblestone points.

After nearly 15 years at the same agency, my move from Cubical to office coincides with the hiatus of daily e's reports.

Let's hope an increase in productivity coincides as well.

I know you have always talked about pandora.com E but I always just blew it off as another music site.

No more. It's fucking awesome.

And, oh yeah, it is pumpin' down here...

Posted by: Hb at March 21, 2006 08:32 PM

really, banal bvb bashing bromides beat it.

Posted by: at March 21, 2006 08:39 PM

bvb is cool. so's ethan. i appreciate their dedication to the beach, their perspectives and their willingness to share. tho a lot of the shite that gets attributed to mr. carrillo probably is written by someone else. i'm not going to criticize either of them for anything, they are real people, unlike us anonymous dick wads. cheers.

Posted by: hellatio at March 22, 2006 01:38 AM

I don't know who you are, hellatio, but bvb is certainly not cool. He gets his jollies off by annoying others. This blog is just one, very small example. If he is pissing people off, Bob is happy. If you had to deal with the crap that us long-time outer sunsets have had to deal with for the last 20 years then you too would be as glad as I am that he is spending time here instead of endlessly annoying us. On the plus side, he at least has found his niche in life, he is good at it, and he works it hard, which is more than most of us can say. Hopefully fatherhood will have as positive an impact on his as it has had on some other Fort Point locals.

banal bvb bashing bromides beat it.

Thank you, BVB

Another Techno-crat job posting.

You too could be working 8 hour days with every other friday off. 13 holidays plus 32 hours of 'floating holiday' a year. And 2 weeks vacation. Good retirement package too.

Live the ASL, almost.

Yeah, forget about BVB. Let's talk about Brian again.

Posted by: steve at March 22, 2006 09:16 AM

Friend #1,
When are you guys at Baaqmd gonna stop bending over for the corporate interests and do something to protect the people and their air quality?
That crap coming out of Pacific Steel in W. Berkeley is noxious, but perhaps more noxious is having your top brass make backroom deals with the factory to increase their emissions!
I'm just laying it out like it is.

Posted by: Sander at March 22, 2006 09:19 AM

Dude, I am just a cog in the machine, not a big decision maker. It is a very slow process.

As for laying it out like it is, you are laying it out as you see it.

Whenever we put a name on a thing or try to describe it, we only cheapen it in the attempt.

When emissions are smelly, or visable, that is when there is the most outcry. Smell is the case with Pacific Steel Casting. The company uses sand molds to cast steel and the stuff that keeps the sand together is particularly smelly when it is burned by the hot Steel and also when they burn up the used broken bits of the molds.

Here's the scoop from the horses mouth:

http://www.baaqmd.gov/pio/news/2005/settle_051222_psc.pdf

If you really don't dig the way it is going down, here is another 'job posting' for you to consider:
